I’m joining the boatfolk community!
Today I am delighted to announce that I have joined forces with boatfolk, one of the leading boating businesses in the UK.
As some of you might know, I stopped at a few of the boatfolk marinas on my trip and every time I was astounded by the quality of the marinas and care of their staff. However, what took me aback the most was the underlying community spirit of each marina. boatfolk are on a mission to reinvent marinas as we know them; they’re making their marinas places that are so much more than just somewhere to keep your boat. They’re creating communities where anyone can be involved, boat owner or not – this is why I am so excited to be working with them.
One of boatfolk’s top priorities is getting young people, like me, on the water and having fun afloat. By exposing young people to the magical experiences that you can have in, on or under the water, and showing them the freedom it brings. Together we will be developing the next generation of boaters.
Over the past couple of months we have been working together on some exciting ideas, with plans to bring local youngsters closer to the water. We cannot wait to share these ideas with you over the coming months.
