After leaving Plymouth yesterday, here we are in Dartmouth. Not where we had intended to be, but due to the pretty tough F6+ conditions around Start Point, on the nose, it was the safest option for both Alchemy and me.
This morning I have been plotting our course for the next leg, to Portland. I have been working the tide out carefully for the infamous Portland Bill, it is one of the last tricky tidal gates of the trip and I want to get it right!
Let’s hope this wind dies down soon…
