Facebook Post: 23rd September

Yesterday I came into Queen Anne’s Battery after leaving Falmouth Marina early that morning for what turned out to be a pretty fast trip with a following breeze and swell.
We have had a great few days heading along the South Coast. On Monday morning we left Newlyn Harbour and had just enough wind to push us along nicely up to Lizard Point.
We also had a Pilot Whale pass by which was an amazing end to a pretty fun passage… well other than the fact I spent 5 hours doing 2.5kts against the tide once we got round Lizard point but thats sailing!
I am now going to be once again stuck with some bad weather over the next couple days. Not long to go now though, I only have 3 more legs until I’m back in the Solent!
